Xishan Printing Association Inspection Report to Japan
On June 21, 2019, at the invitation of Japan's Okahashi Co., Ltd., a 21-member team of the Xishan District Printing Association was the chairman of the Xishan District Printing Association and the chairman of Wuxi Ramada Printing Co., Ltd. Hua Zhixuan, the secretary-general of the association and Wuxi Zhongjiang Led by Yu Jiang, Chairman of Color Printing Packaging Co., Ltd., he went to Japan to visit and exchange activities with famous local printing and packaging companies.
The Japanese packaging industry has developed rapidly with the post-war economic growth of Japan. Japanese packaging has attracted the attention of people all over the world for its traditional new materials, sophisticated craftsmanship and meticulous design. The quality level and lean management of Japanese packaging production have a place in the industry. Under the careful organization and arrangement of Wuxi Gangqiao Packaging Co., Ltd., the Printing Association and his party went to Nara, Japan's ancient capital, to take a closer look at the true face of Japanese packaging.
During the 6-day inspection, the delegation visited Japan Crown Packaging Co., Ltd., Japan Okahashi Co., Ltd., and Tenri Shimbun Co., Ltd., and exchanged and received a warm welcome from the reception staff. In the meeting room of the Kansai Plant of the Crown Packaging Co., Ltd., the director of the Shangye factory introduced that Japan Crown Packaging, established in 1962, has 9 manufacturing plants throughout Japan and a sales network throughout Japan. It mainly produces and sells food packaging, Cosmetics packaging and paper bags, etc., covering the whole country's production network to meet customer needs for a full range of packaging solutions. Shangye introduced that although the Japanese packaging market has been in a weak and shrinking state in recent years, under this situation, Crown Packaging has still achieved contrarian growth.
The Crown Packaging Kansai factory in Gecheng, Nara Prefecture covers an area of ??36,000 square meters. It has two-layer and three-layer tiles, such as B tile, E tile, F tile, and G tile, and a 7-color gravure rotary press. Plate rotary pre-printing machine, Mitsubishi Ryobi's offset printing machine, multi-color watermarking machine, as well as the production line of back cover, die-cutting, window sticking, and box gluing. Because the workshop involved food packaging, our association was fully armed and led by factory personnel into three groups to visit each workshop. First of all, what impressed us is that the various sections of production are well-ordered and distributed in different workshops, and each of them uses logistics tracks or electric forklifts to move materials. We do not see a manual trailer and more than 80 vehicles. Feed and discharge are carried out in order. In the preprint workshop and the Lawa line, the Lawa line produced by Shizuoka Koki in 1989 is running at a high speed. The equipment that has been used for 30 years still works at a high speed without losing to new equipment. Minister Kawaguchi also introduced to us the printing process that they realized in cooperation with pre-printing and showed the design pattern through corrugated corrugated peaks; and the excellent process that corrugated was not transparent and not obvious through special transformation. Next, in the offset printing workshop, we also experienced the mature inspection function of Crown Packaging's process and equipment for directly printing micro-corrugations such as G tiles on a sheet-fed offset printing machine; in the workshops of each subsequent section, we once again saw high automated production efficiency. And neat and orderly management site. Although we have not seen the confidential food packaging production line, Crown's series of production details let us see the "work" of Japanese packaging people in production technology and management.
Okahashi Co., Ltd., located in Ebara, Nara Prefecture, is the parent company of Wuxi Okahashi Packaging Co., Ltd., established in 1953. The company has Heidelberg 6-color folio UV printers, Bobst automatic die-cutting machines, hot stamping machines, fully automatic Paste box line and so on. 50% of the company's products are cosmetics and 25% are food. Okahashi is also a production plant for plastic PP color boxes that are fully equipped in Japan from all raw materials to finished products. After visiting the production site and sophisticated sample room of Okahashi, in the meeting room of Okahashi Packaging, members of the association had an in-depth discussion with the president of Okahashi on issues such as employee management and labor costs. President Okahashi also shared with you the various changes in the Chinese packaging industry since he founded Okahashi Packaging in Wuxi in 2004. At the same time, the president of Okabashi also expressed that Okabashi company uses Wuxi factory as a production base to produce packaging boxes that meet world standards, and uses the Japanese market as a starting point to expand Southeast Asian and European markets.
Tenri Times is located in Tenri, Nara Prefecture. Tenri is the birthplace of Tenri. As a branch of Japanese theology, Tenri has more than two million believers. Tianli Times, founded in 1940, has been responsible for the production of Tianli Times and related Tianli teaching publications. With the continuous growth of production capacity, Tenri Times now uses Nara Tenri as a starting point to expand its business throughout Japan, and is responsible for the production and sales of various books, brochures and manuals.
In the production workshop of Tianli Times, we saw the printing process of newspapers at close range. Tianli Times has multiple web presses and four offset presses, of which 700 million yen worth of five-color two-sided printing Mitsubishi web presses are equipped with single-sheet collection. Paper and automatic folding and receiving lines can be customized according to production needs. On a fully automatic folding and plastic binding production line, the leader of the Times also introduced to us the process of thin plastic binding. This special process makes the books they produce comfortable to read. After visiting the workshop, members of the association also had a lively discussion and exchange with the general manager of the company Chen Chen about the quality and technology of the product.
During the inspection, at the invitation of Okahashi Packaging, the inspection team and the senior members of the Nara Printing Association, including the President of Okahashi, the general manager of Tatsuya, and the director of the factory on the factory, arranged for our visit to the dinner. During the banquet, the chairman and secretary general of Xishan Printing Association first introduced to them the enterprises of the delegation and the basic situation of Xishan Printing Association. While tasting local specialties and Japanese sake, everyone made further heated discussions about the content that could not be exchanged during the factory tour. The chairman and secretary general again invited them to visit and exchange in our mountainous area of ??Wuxi.
As the ancient cultural city of Japan, the place where we visited this time has many ancient temples and shrines and historical relics, and enjoys the title of "Shrine Temple Capital", which is one of the birthplaces of ancient Japanese culture. In fact, Nara, as the capital of Japan during the Nara period, was also the destination of Jianzhen's eastbound crossing of the Tang Dynasty. More than a thousand years ago, Master Jianzhen from Yangzhou was invited by Japanese monks to study abroad. Arrived in Nara, Japan. Jian Zhen Dongdu brought a large number of books and cultural relics to Japan. He diligently spread the cultural achievements of the Tang Dynasty in various aspects, taught the Dharma, and was revered at the time. Jianzhen Dongdu had a profound impact on Nara and the development of religion and culture in Japan. At the same time, it also enhanced the friendship between the people of China and Japan. The association went to Japan's Nara printing enterprises for study and exchange, and it is also a continuation of the friendship between the peoples of China and Japan. It is believed that the packaging industry in China and Japan will continue to develop better and better through continuous exchanges and joint efforts of printers from both countries.
